I love the smell of the newly blooming honeysuckle. It just screams springtime! It takes me back to when I was a little girl helping my mom and dad plant our garden. My sister, Teresa and I would play all sorts of games working in the garden. Our most memorable was "Orphanage". We would pretend we were poor little orphans having to work so hard and our parents were the mean old caretakers. What imagination! Were we goofy or what?

Andrew and his favorite yard ornament.

What a hard working bunch!

GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!

The drive home from Memphis Easter weekend was pretty down. Andrew was sick and ready to get home. We passed a rest stop and saw several truck pulling "famous" race cars. Andrew perked up pretty quickly when he heard Mason's excitement. Mark pulled into the rest stop and asked if the boys could have their picture taken by the trucks. The drivers were so nice. It made the boys gloomy drive back home a fun memory. Now I only wish we would have snapped a photo of the Oscar Myer Weenie truck we saw...no, I am not making that up, we really did see one!

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE ANDREW...

I LOVE THIS PICTURE BECAUSE ANDREW LOVES IT! THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN THE NIGHT BEFORE ANDREW WAS BORN. LOOK AT SWEET MASON PATTING MY TUMMY. ANDREW IS ALMOST AS OLD AS MASON WAS IN THIS PICTURE. WHEN I TELL HIM HE WAS IN MY TUMMY HE IS JUST FACINATED AND EXCITED. HE SAYS "I MADE YOU FAT MOM!" HE ASKS ME TO SHOW HIM THIS PICTURE ALL THE TIME. I'M GLAD THAT SWEET MONSTER MADE ME FAT!

FUNNY BOYS

THESE BOYS ARE JUST SO FUNNY! I LOVE THESE PHOTOS BECAUSE THEY REALLY SHOW THEIR PERSONALITIES. MASON IS THE BIG BROTHER ALWAYS TRYING TO GUIDE HIS RAMBUNCTIOUS LITTLE BROTHER. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD TO EACH OTHER. THEY HAVE THEIR MOMENTS BUT I HOPE THEY ALWAYS PROTECT EACH OTHER LIKE THEY DO NOW. WHAT A BLESSING IT IS TO HAVE A BROTHER TO BE YOUR CLOSE FRIEND FOR LIFE!
