New Baby, New viewpoint

The news of a new baby in our family was a surprise for all of us.  I will say it has taken a bit for it to sink in for me.  We are all excitied, especially the boys.  Andrew is hoping for a little brother, Granny says a girl would be nice.  I am always thrilled with whatever we get.

I have to say the pitter patter of little feet has me looking at our home and our routines in a new way.  It's fair to say we weren't planning for little toddlers in this house.  Slick wood floors, old wood floors that have splinters and lots of stairs.  We will have to make some adjustments or this little one will have to be a tough cookie.

It is different being pregnant with baby number three at 36.  It is different than it was at 25 and 29.  Boy have I felt that tiredness!  I have spent a few Saturdays in my pajamas all day, only venturing out of bed a few times.  A short business trip to Florida was fun but I felt it on the flight home.  After the two hour drive home from the airport I was spent...strait to bed I went.  I hope with the start of the 4th month, I am coming out of that phase.

We have lots to do before August when we bring home another little precious jewel.  Just in time for football season to begin again.  This one will learn to love the game early while we watch the big boys play on Fridays and Saturdays.

I had both of our kids in my 30's and I was soooo flippin' tired! I think giving birth in your 20's must be much easier!

I hope you have a fun and relaxing pregnancy and enjoy those PJs days!
